Compare this to blasting/jackhammering which may require a full day to produce one hole. And because ROCK STAR 2000 is normally boom-mounted on a truck, moving and repositioning the unit for repeated use is fast and easy.
	Exceptionally Versatile	Because it is boom-mounted, ROCK STAR 2000 is easy to position up embankments, over trenches, behind guardrails and in congested areas. Unit height is under 13-ft. (plus boom head) for unrestricted use under existing utility lines. While a typical application is drilling holes for utility poles, ROCK STAR 2000 is suitable for use wherever an easy-to-maneuver, effective drill is needed, such as in boring holes for hydraulic elevator shafts, guardrails, short caissons, signage, pole barns and more.

A proprietary steel stabilizing frame runs the full length of the unit from boom head to a wide foot secured to the formation by steel stabilizing pins.
